All-Party Parliamentary Group for Choice at the End of Life
Control over the quality of our death is one of the most important ethical issues of our time. This group, representing MPs and Peers from across the political spectrum, promotes greater patient choice at the end of life.
Our aim is to help ensure that dying adults have more control over where, when and how they die. In line with public opinion, the group advocates universal access to patient centred end-of-life care; the right for mentally competent adults to refuse treatment; and the choice of an assisted death, within legal safeguards, for dying adults.
